Pasquetta Special - Raffaella Carra' & Gigi D'Agostino Online Dance Party

April 12, 2020

On Easter Monday I would usually be in Italy, surrounded by friends, laughter, delicious food and plentiful wine (I'm half Italian). When we're divided, music can bring us together. On Easter Monday, I'll be hosting an online dance party with the Italian comfort music of my generation: Raffaella Carra', whose music is a must have on the playlist of any respectable 18th birthday party, wedding or musical celebration; and Gigi D'Agostino, who produced the hits Italians of my generation grew up dancing to in clubs.

Non Italians welcome too. Easter Monday, 6.30 - 7pm UK time. Join on zoom through this link https://zoom.us/j/99857530422

Amici e amiche! Pasquetta, 19.30 20.30 ora Italiana Link https://zoom.us/j/99857530422

Girl Power Silent Disco - All Genders Welcome

March 05, 2020

After a sold-out success with a feature on Heart Radio in 2018, Girl Power Silent Disco is back. We're creating an empowering, fun and comfortable experience for everyone to come together and dance their asses off on Women's day. Hosted by Antidote, this is a 90 minute event open to all genders.

There will be two playlists packed with your favourite female artists. 70s and 80s on one channel, featuring Cindy Lauper, Diana Ross, The Pointer Sisters, Gloria Gaynor and many more. 90s and Noughties on the other, with J-Lo, the Spice Girls, Missy Elliot, Destiny's Child and the rest of the lot.

The first part of the event will feature a Girl Power warm up where you will learn to dance like Madonna, Beyonce and the Spice Girls. The dance moves will be easy to pick up, and the focus is on celebrating women and feeling good. As long as you smile, you can’t go wrong.

Sony Pictures - National Inclusion Week Special Edition

September 26, 2017

Sony Pictures hosted our classic one-hour silent disco package, which we customised for National Inclusion Week. We used Chris Fonseca's work as a deaf hip-hop dance teacher to reflect on the accessibility of our hobbies and passions. What can we do to make more people feel included in the things that we love doing and that make us happy?

What are your hobbies, passions, interests?

What benefits to you draw from them?

Can you think of anyone who might struggle to access this hobby, passion or interest of yours?

Can you think of ways in which you can help increase the number of people who can benefit from it?

We ended the session by asking the Sony team to tell us in one word how the felt about the session. The event image is the collection of the words they wrote.
